Mrs. Cynthia Ann Scandiber Wilshire, 72 of Indian Land S.C. died peacefully at her home on October, 26th. 2024. Mrs. Wilshire was preceded in death by her parents, Austin Scandiber, and Ann Machoskie Scandiber. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Brent Wilshire, two children Stephanie Williamson (Charles), Gregory Wilshire (Melinda), four grandchildren, Tripp Williamson, Lauren Williamson, Cannon Wilshire, Ethan Willshire, sisters Sandra Scandiber and Kathy Crow.
We say goodbye to Cindy, who was tough as nails but also whose bark was far worse than her bite, while still choosing to bark quite a bit. Cindy was a true one of one, an absolute soulmate to her husband, a loving sister, mother and grandmother or "CC" as she preferred to be called by her 4 grandchildren. She was a woman of strong faith, a world traveler, the original penny pincher, a proud Navy veteran, an avid craftswoman, and skilled nurse. She loved nothing more than an evening at the beach playing cards with dear friends as long as there was a plentiful amount of white wine and brie cheese on hand, preferably from the closest ALDIs. There will never be another like her, she will be greatly missed, rest assured her name will pop up regularly in inappropriate jokes, stories and memories by those who knew her best for many decades to come. Please raise your next glass to Cindy.
