Memorial Service for Delores "Dee" Ginsbach, 89 of Sisseton, SD will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Sisseton, SD with Pastor Jared Jordan officiating and organist Ember Dady. Honorary Urn Bearers will be Sisseton Presbyterian Woman and All of Dee's family and friends. Interment will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD, at a later date. Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Delores Ann Ginsbach "Dee" was born on September 27, 1936, in Ipswich, SD to Ralph and Rose (Gerhard) Linaman. She graduated from Ipswich High School then went on to college at South Dakota State University. She worked as the Roberts County Home Economics Agent from 1958 to 1960. She started teaching Home Economics and Vocational Food Service at Sisseton High School and the Northeast South Dakota Multi District Program starting in August of 1960 until she completely retired in 1999.

Dee married Lyle Ginsbach on August 13, 1961, at the First Presbyterian Church in Sisseton, SD. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church where she was active in the PW and served on the session as an elder. Dee was the first woman to serve on the Sisseton City Council, when she was elected in 1979. She enjoyed doing hardinger, crocheting, gardening especially her roses, traveling; she even wrote a cookbook "Dee's Dakota Favorites" and collecting angels. Dee belonged to many organizations: She was an Eastern Star member and served various officer positions including Worthy Matron and at the state level she held a star point at Grand Lodge, Legion Axillary member for over 65 years, Stavik House, and Tekakwitha Foundation. She was active in our local education association and a lifelong member of both SDEA (South Dakota Education Association) and NEA (National Education Association). She was on the board of directors for SDEA and on her retirement she became president of the SDEA Retired. She was always in the background working. Dee and Lyle enjoyed their life together traveling and visiting friends. Lyle passed away on October 22, 2021. Dee passed away on February 28, 2026, at Tekakwitha Nursing Home in Sisseton, SD.

Dee is survived by her brother Doug Linaman, friends, and other family.

Dee is preceded in death by her husband Lyle; parents Ralph and Rose Linaman; brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers: you may make a contribution to the Angel Fund at the Sisseton High School or the First Presbyterian Church in Sisseton, SD.
