Delriccus Jamar Jackson was born on April 3rd, 1978 in Elkhart, Indiana. He was proceeded in death by his father Frederick Stewart of Las Vegas, Nevada (Muskegon,MI); his brother Christopher F. Jackson; his late maternal grandparents Robert, Dorothy Jackson of Elkhart, Indiana; and his late paternal grandparent Lottie Stewart of Muskegon, MI.
He is survived by his partner Dan Baker; his mother Edna Jackson of Wyoming, Michigan; siblings Kenya Jackson, Paris Jackson, Destinee Jackson, Brian Jackson, William Jackson-Brown, Derrick Keemp-Stewart, De'Airo Sampson, Cedric Wedlaw, & Devyn Stewart. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Del graduated from Grand Rapids Public Schools. He enjoyed playing the cello and listening to music; one of his favorite artists was Yo-Yo Ma. Del also enjoyed gardening. He was known for having a good sense of humor and making everyone laugh. If you knew Del, he had very good craftsmanship and a high sense of fashion.
