Delroid Royce Braud, at the age of 73, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 14, 2025. Delroid was born in New Orleans, LA to the union of the late Debroid, Jr. and Eva H. Braud. Mr. Braud leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife of 52 years, Jacinta D. Braud; children, Angel M. Hall, Jasmine B. White (Alfred) and Delroid R. Parker; sister, Cherlyn Howard; brother-in-law, Merlin Dusuau, Matthew Dusuau (Anna); sister-in-law, Jarita D. Hunter (Chris); grandchildren, Delresha Parker, Gregory McKendall, III, Garrick McKendall, Grace M. Thompson (Hassan), Delroid Parker, Jr., Gabriel McKendall, Jayden, Anyah and Julian White; great-grandchildren, Elsa McKendall, Hassan Thompson, Jr., Deandre Coleman, II, Hosea and Huey Thompson. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Delroid is also preceded in death by brothers, Debroid Braud, III, his twin, Delloid R. Braud, and a niece, Sean Howard. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Delroid R. Braud will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10 am. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Blvd., New Orleans, LA. Visitation 9 am in the chapel. Please sign online guestbook at www.charbonnetfuneralhome.com.
