Mr. Demetrious Elijah Davis

Mr. Demetrious Elijah Davis, 25, of Peoria, Illinois transitioned from this life on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Demetrious was born on February 12, 1998 in Peoria, IL to Elizabeth (Regan) Turner and Breelund Drake Davis, Sr. He pursued his education and received an Associates Degree in Business becoming an entrepreneur in the trucking business.
Demetrious was a devout Muslim. He was family oriented, a smart businessman and strong willed. He loved to laugh and had a smile that would light up a room upon him entering.
Demetrious was very intuitive to his family in knowing their wants, anxieties and needs. He didn't mind showing his emotions and would cry for his loved ones. Demetrious was like "Mighty Mouse"; he may have been the smallest in the room, but very mighty and courageous. Demetrious was wise beyond his years. He was a strong motivator for good; always speaking positivity to others. He loved hard and had a big heart; always very giving of himself to others. Demetrious truly enjoyed gatherings with his family and spending time with them; especially when there was eating involved. His favorite meal was mac & cheese.
Demetrious leaves to cherish his most precious memories his loving family which includes his mother, Elizabeth (Gary) Turner; his children, Hussein Raheem Davis, Hassun Younger and Nevaeh Younger; siblings, Julius (Shurya) Davis, Breelund Davis, Jr., Breon Davis, Draylund Davis and Aaliyah Davis; his fiancé, Jasmine Younger; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Breelund Davis, Sr., and grandparents, Sharon Weber, Sam and Myra Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL where CL Page Mortuary at 3031 Moncrief Road is entrusted with arrangements. Demetrious will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL.
