Demille Jamal Hampton

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Demille Hampton, who left us far too soon on May 10, 2025 at the age of 24.
Born on May 3, 2001 in Chicago, IL. Demille brought light, laughter, and kindness into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and passion for basketball, music, and gaming.
Demille attended Schafer Elementary School, where he played basketball for Airbourne travel team, Bryan Middle School, and Hinsdale South High School. He also loved music and making people laugh. Demille was always the life of the party and very outspoken.
He touched many lives with his compassion, humor, and unwavering support for those he loved. Whether it was a spontaneous adventure or a quiet moment, he had a way of making every experience meaningful with a joke to make you laugh.
He is survived by mother Regina Gibson (Tommy), father Glennie Hampton Sr, siblings LaQuita Hampton, LaMonica Hampton, Lamont Hampton, Glennie Hampton Jr, Regine (Howard) Ferguson, and Arshella Hampton. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his memory and the love he shared will live on in our hearts forever.
