Denise Franks, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025 at the age of 75.
Denise leaves behind her children, Cinda (Matthew) Scully and Dawn Young, her siblings, Helen Shortridge, Timothy (Sheila) Oaks, James (Julie) Oaks and Lois Sturgill. She leaves her memory to her grandchildren, Zachary (Melissa), Alexander (Jennifer), Nicholas (Jennifer), Hannah, Andrew (Micaela), Olivia (Nik), Luke, Jonathan, Benjamin, Joel, Ray (Amanda), Makayla (Douglas), Emily, Jacob and Evan. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Mathew, Miley, Jack, Layna, Ty, Audra, Della, Kira, Nola, Julia, Logan, Archie, Addison, Leo, Isla, Ellis, Levi and Mason.
Known for her deep faith, unique sense of humor, resilience and love for Jesus, Denise dearly loved her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her legacy of strength, love, and devotion will live through them always.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent in the body and to be present with the Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:7-8.
Denise is loved by many and will be deeply missed forever.
