Denise Hardy Obituary
Denise Colleen Hardy, 66, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. She was born September 8, 1958, in Covington, the daughter of the late George and Wanda Sydnor Gegner. She was a retired Certified Nurse Assistant for many years and was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by her husband, Steve; her sons, Doug Gegner and Richard Sipple; daughter Alicia Huffman; sisters Pam Bridewell and Trina Gegner; brothers Matt and Greg Gegner; her grandchildren, Brayden Gegner, Brooklyn Damico, Adriana Lovell and Jonathan Lovell and 6 great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. There will be a visitation Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, from 6-8 PM, where family and friends are invited to share stories of remembrance. The burial will be private at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Hardy family.
