Denise Lynn Nolan Obituary
Denise Lynn Nolan, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 9, 2024 in Charlestown, Indiana. Denise's final moments were spent with her husband of 47 years, Allen Keith Nolan.
Denise is survived by her husband and three children, Michael Patrick Nolan, Daniel Keith Nolan, and Elizabeth Anne Nolan. Her family asks that Denise be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
Born on June 21, 1958 to Walter and Frances Louise Rife, Denise was the youngest of seven, with four sisters and two brothers. A dedicated wife and mother, Denise devoted her life to serving and caring for others, especially children.
Denise will be remembered for her immense strength, creativity, curiosity, and lifelong passions for crafting and baking. Denise was a deeply compassionate, generous, and thoughtful person. She loved bunnies, panda bears, and fairies, and shared a bit of magic with everyone she met.
A small, private gathering for family and loved ones will be held on June 13, 2024 to share memories of Denise's life and all the love she gave.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate to honor Denise's love for children.
