Denise Ann Pitt

Denise Ann (Nowroski) Pitt, 70, passed unexpectedly on October 29, 2025. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she grew up in Livonia and later made her home in Westland.

Denise was an incredible woman with the biggest heart. She lived to laugh and loved life in every aspect. Always the life of the party, she brought light and joy wherever she went. Her peace-sign pose in photos became her signature-capturing her fun-loving, free-spirited nature perfectly.

Family was everything to her. Her children were her world, and she made sure they knew how proud she was to be their mom - not just for what they've accomplished, but for the people they've become. Her greatest joy was being a mom and grandma, and she poured her love into every hug, every story, and every shared laugh.

She touched the lives of so many with her kindness, humor, and positive outlook. She was truly one of a kind-humble, compassionate, and endlessly uplifting. Denise always had a smile on her face, loved to laugh and always said "laughter is the best form of medicine". And lived every day, proving it.

Denise leaves behind her beloved children Nat (Julie), Jessica (Joey), Jennie, and Jaymi (James); grandchildren Alexis, Emma, Kameron, Nick, Kate, Josilyn, and Juliana; and great-granddaughter Harlow. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. May her love, laughter and pure kindness continue to shine through all of us.
