Born in Newark, NJ to Daniel and Janet (Colonna) Roccia, Denise grew up in Belleville before moving to E. Hanover. For over 20 years she worked for The American Red Cross in Fairfield, NJ.
Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her beloved sister, Luann Fabbo and her husband, Andrew; caring uncle, Uncle Dice; dear nieces, Andrea and Nicole; great nephew and niece, Dominic and Alexa; and a host of friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, NJ with a Funeral Service to be offered at 7:00 pm. Cremation at Rosedale Cemetery, Montclair, NJ will be private. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookfarmer.com.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Denise may be made to American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839 or please visit, redcross.org/donate/donation.html/.

So sad. I attended art school with Denise in Ridgewood NJ until our graduation. She was always a wonderful person and happy to share a hello and conversation.

We will miss Denise when we meet for our Coast Guard Auxiliary meetings. She was always a bright light for us, greeting everyone and always encouraging our group
