Spc Montgomery-Smith was a native of Elizabethtown, KY and the daughter of Rodney Montgomery, Jr. and Heather Clark. She was assigned to the 139th Military Police Company, Fort Stewart, Georgia, and a member of First Baptist Church, Hodgenville, KY.
She is survived by her husband, Joshua Smith of Ft. Stewart, GA; three children, Josiah, Judah and Jordan Smith; her parents, Rodney Montgomery, Jr. (Bethany); her mother, Heather Clark; two sisters, Brooklyn Harris (Desmond) and Jadah Montgomery; paternal grandparents, Rodney Montgomery and Anna Denise Bell (Barry); maternal grandparents, Jeff Welker and Michelle Welker; her mother-in-law, Sharron Smith and great grandmother, Elizabeth Nixon along with a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. William Curle officiating. Burial will full military honors will follow in Hubbard Cemetery in Hodgenville, KY.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2022 also at Percell & Sons Funeral Home. Send flowers to the service of Spc Denisha M. Montgomery-Smith
