Burnham – Dennis A. Conlogue, 83, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family on April 11, 2025, at Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital.
He was born on June 17, 1941, in Lincoln, Maine, the son of the late Ernest and Mavis (Palmer) Conlogue. He graduated from Mattanawcook Academy with the Class of 1959 and proudly served his country in the United States Army. When he returned from the service, he became a Master Burner Technician and went to work for Pittsfield Coal and Oil. He later started his own heating business. Dennis also worked as a part-time police officer for the Pittsfield Police Department and later worked for Securitas as a security guard before retiring.
Dennis was a jack of all trades as there was nothing that he could not fix. His daughter, Melissa, nicknamed him "MacGyver." He enjoyed cooking, reading, camping and motorcycle riding.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary (Humphrey) Conlogue; his children: Sonya Labonte and husband Bill, Melissa Noonan and husband Tim; brother, Victor Conlogue and wife Carol; several grandchildren and their significant others: Alison Erving, Amy Thompson, Alex Erving, Kaitlin Labonte, Jared Labonte, Hannah Noonan, Jayde Boneparte, Jewell Conlogue, and Jenna Conlogue; and several great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Mavis Conlogue; son, Lewis Conlogue; granddaughter, Jordyn Conlogue; and great-granddaughter, Vivian Monroe Conlogue.
He will forever be missed and his memory will live in the hearts of the people who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
