Dennis E Corbin

Dennis E. "Denny" Corbin 73, passed away peacefully, after a long hard battle with cancer, September 13, 2025 at home with his family by his side. He was born and raised in Hanover, PA to the late Wilber and Irene (Dubbs) Corbin, July 3, 1952.

Denny was a lifelong resident of Hanover. He married the love of his life Ruth A. Hahn, May 22, 1981, together they shared 44 years of marriage, and they were together for 54 years. Denny was employed by Leisters Furniture for many years until 2010, until he was diagnosed with cancer. Denny was a loving and devoted family man. Family was very important to him, along with being the countdown man for various holidays and other important dates during the year. One of Denny's favorite places to visit was Sunset Beach in Cape May, NJ. He and his family would travel to Wildwood, NJ, then over to Sunset Beach for the Flag Ceremony every Memorial Day. He was an avid Penn State Football fan, Miami Dolphins fan, and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and for many years participated in the Relay For Life. Denny also enjoyed coffee and cheesecake.

Along with his parents, Wilber and Irene Corbin, he was also predeceased by his sister Phyllis Bair.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Ruth A. Corbin, his daughter; Alissa Miller and her husband Dalton, dear friend and adopted daughter Katie Bentzel, and 1 granddaughter, Braxton Shaffer and 1 grandson, Jaxson Miller. Denny is also survived by his beloved dog Lucy.

A Celebration of Denny's Life will be held in Hanover Fellowship Church 200 South Street Hanover, PA 17331 Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11am with Pastor John Harling and Pastor Keith Hartlaub officiating.
