Dennis Ray Cunningham

Dennis Ray Cunningham, 37, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday January 22, 2024 at Franciscan Hospital, Michigan City, IN.
He was born July 23, 1986 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Jane Cunningham.
A lifelong resident of the area, Dennis was a simple and loving man who adored his family, especially his cousins. He enjoyed listening to music and his favorite band was Kiss. Dennis was an avid New York Yankees fan and blue was his favorite color. He loved to go fishing, watch big time wrestling on TV, and because of his love for his pets, was once a volunteer at an animal shelter in Michigan City. He was known to always have a can of Mountain Dew and a cigarette in his hands.
Dennis is survived by his mother, Jane Cunningham; five brothers, Tony (Sirena) Weiss of La Porte, IN, Matthew Larkin of Mishawaka, IN, Kevin Timm of La Porte, IN, Kyle (Abbi) Timm of La Porte, IN, Kalvin Timm of South Bend, IN; sister, Tasha (Wayne) Wedding of Knox, IN; grandfather, Bruce ( Janyce Sanchez) Cunningham of La Porte, IN; cousin who was like a brother, Jeremy Newton; nephews, Caiden Weiss and Austin Lewis; nieces Kaylee Wedding, Alexis (Lucas) Porter, Iris Timm and a large extended family.
Dennis was preceded in death by his grandma, Ramona E. Cunningham.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN, where the family will hold a memorial service on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 12:00 noon, central time. Friends may begin gathering at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will take place, with burial at Rolling Prairie Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to his mother.
