Dennis A. Deschutter

Dennis A. Deschutter, age 74, passed away on October 2, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Linda, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. Loving father of Laurie, Angela (James), Dennis M., and Kimberly (Chris). Proud grandfather of Nickalas, Lauren, and Brianna. Dear brother of Charles (Carol) and Diane. Dennis will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Dennis was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a hardworking man who devoted his life to providing for his family. He enjoyed his career as a truck driver, traveling the country, and took pride in his ability to fix anything with an engine. He was happiest when working with his tools, spending time with family, and cheering on his Detroit Tigers. Dennis especially cherished his role as a grandfather, doting on his grandchildren-most especially Nickalas, with whom he shared a birthday. He also treasured visits with family to Indiana and long phone conversations with his siblings.

Visitation for Dennis will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 Fifteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Following services, Dennis will be laid to rest with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.

He will be remembered with love, respect, and gratitude by all who knew him.
