Dennis T. Farrell, of Manchester New Hampshire, formerly of Reading, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday March 16th, 2025. He was 85 years of age.

Dennis graduated from Boston College in 1962 with a degree in Business Administration. While at BC, he was a member of ROTC and, upon graduation, entered the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant, serving for three years.

In 1963, he married Ellen, and after his military service, he pursued a career in law enforcement. In the 1970s, he joined the Reading Police Department, where he served until his retirement in December 1995.

He cherished summers in Maine with his family, creating lifelong memories by the water. In his retirement, he enjoyed an active lifestyle, playing golf, bridge, and poker, and even calling bingo. He loved staying engaged in his community and making the most of his well-earned retirement.

Dennis is the husband of Ellen (Trottier) Farrell.
