Dennis Ford, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 82 in Bridgeton, Missouri. Born on January 13, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri, Dennis was known for his warm spirit and his dedication to his family and community. Dennis trusted the Lord as his Savior at an early age of 8 and was in fellowship at Emmaus Bible Chapel for 60 years. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and grandsons and loved to travel both here and some abroad. Dennis also loved to help at camps from time to time.
Dennis is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Ford; his children, Dennis J. (Teresa) Ford, Deborah K. (Richard) Smith, and Bryan D. (Joy) Ford; and his cherished grandchildren, Brendan Ford, Brittany Ford, Brett Ford, Nathan (Bethany) Smith, Caleb Smith, Luke (Nina) Smith, Elisabeth Smith, Sarah Smith, Rachel Smith, and great granddaughter, Guinevere Smith.
Dennis also held a special place in the heart of his sister, Jeanette Fahrenholtz, and will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his kindness and support.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Ford and Grace Ford, and his brother-in-law, Roy Fahrenholtz.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on April 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. A funeral service will take place on April 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, where Dennis will be laid to rest just after noon.
Dennis Ford will be remembered for his unwavering love and commitment to those he treasured, and his legacy will live on through his family, who carry his spirit forward.
