Daniel F. Troll, born on January 30, 1949, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026. A proud veteran, Daniel served his country during the Vietnam War, an experience that deeply shaped his character and values. He held his military service in high regard.
Daniel's interests extended well beyond his military service. He found joy in floating, a pastime that allowed him to connect with nature and relax. He was an avid supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals, passionately following the team through the ups and downs of each season. His love for the game was not only a personal enjoyment but also a way to bond with family and friends.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lori (Bob) Reisinger and Jennifer Boan. Daniel also leaves behind three grandchildren, Nicholas, Eliza, and Abigail, as well as five great-grandchildren, Colten, Liam, Athena, Iris, and Nyx, who brought him immense joy and pride. Additionally, Daniel is remembered fondly by a host of other family members and friends, all of whom were touched by his presence in their lives.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Charles Peter Troll, and his mother, Norma Jean Troll. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, celebrated for his spirit, dedication, and love for family and friends.
