Dennis Harding
On the morning of 9/10/23 Dennis Harding transcended his health worries and dietary restrictions to climb that big ol’ tree stand in the sky.
Dennis was a dedicated husband, father, and friend. He loved the outdoors, including fishing and hunting, and was known to tell tall tales about the size of the fish he caught or the size of a buck he shot. He was a classic car enthusiast, who loved working on and driving his ‘47 Chevy. Dennis spent a lifetime locally repairing and replacing air conditioners. He could often diagnose an AC problem over the phone. Dennis enjoyed spending time and sharing meals with his family and friends, and loved sneaking a beer or a brownie. His voice and energetic spirit would light up the room, and Dennis was someone you always wanted in your corner.
Dennis will be forever remembered by his loving wife Ann; his sons, Bobby Harding (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Bill Athans (Liz) of Clermont, FL; his grandchildren, Madison and Nikolas Harding, and Austin, Andrew and Aiden Athans; his brother, Walter of Welaka, FL; Eugene of Charolette, NC; Theresa of Welaka, FL; and Dianne of Plymouth, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Julie and Walter Harding, and his brothers David, Jimmy, and Billy.
