Dennis Hepler Obituary
Born in Ashland on November 4, 1952 he was the son of the late Emma (Osman) and Ralph Hepler.
He was the husband of the late Cheryl Ann (Symons) Hepler who passed away in 2003.
Dennis was of the Lutheran faith. He graduated from Tri Valley High School in 1970.
He was a member of VFW Post 2110 Mount Carmel, Eagles, Elks, Clover Hose Company, American Legion Post 804-Atlas, Lithuanian Social Club-Mount Carmel and Shamokin Dam Fire Company.
Dennis enjoyed fishing, camping at Shady Nook, Elvis and traveling.
He was preceded in death by; parents Emma & Ralph Osman; wife Cheryl Ann (Symons) Hepler; sister Ellen Snyder.
Surviving are son Eric Hepler (Meghan), Williamsport; daughter Sarah Hepler, Bloomsburg; 2 grandsons Huck & Will Hepler; sister Gail Shertzer (Charles), Halifax; sister Ruth Snyder (Ernest), Pitman; sister Susan Lazor (John), Sugarloaf; brother in law Marvin Snyder, Leck Hill; many nieces, nephews, in laws and extended family.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday morning December 26th from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Elysburg funeral home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Friday morning with Rev. Joan Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Mount Carmel Cemetery following services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dennis' memory to American Legion Post 804, 11637 State Route 61, Mount Carmel PA 17851.

So sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. He was a great guy. I always enjoyed talking to him at the lumber yard. Singing and dancing at the Christmas parties and he always came out and supported me when I would play and sing in the area. God Bless and may he Rest In Peace. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
