Mullen, NE – Dennis Howard age 73 of Mullen, NE passed away September 4, 2025, at his home in Mullen.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM Mountain Time at the Assembly of God Church in Mullen, NE. Burial will follow in the Cedarview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Assembly of God Church of Mullen, Mullen EMT’s, or Cedarview Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Mountain Time at the Assembly of God Church in Mullen. Dennis Wayne Howard was born on May 9, 1952, in Hayti, Missouri, to Evelyn (Lambert) and Dalton Howard. Dennis lived most of his life in Osceola, AR, He attended college at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR where he studied Pre-law and Political Science.
Dennis was united in marriage to Christine Wills on November 18, 1982, in Georgia. Dennis worked at Walmart as a Photo Center manager and later as Assistant Manager until his retirement.
Dennis is survived by his wife Christine Howard, stepsons Robert (Starla) Spurlin and Ken Spurlin, grandsons Jarod (Lexi) Spurlin and Hunter (Morgan) Spurlin, great grandsons William and Harrison Spurlin, sisters Linda (Robert) Walker of Arkansas and Brenda (Bill) Suddeth of Mississippi, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.
