Dennis Ray Humphrey

Dennis Ray Humphrey, 72, of Florence, passed away surrounded by his family on January 14, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital of Northern Kentucky in Fort Thomas, KY. He was born October 25, 1952 in Covington, KY to the late Sinnett and Mattie (nee Hall) Humphrey. Dennis graduated from Grant County High School. He then worked as an auto mechanic with Tom Gill Chevrolet and various other shops. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Dennis was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved watching sports and attending his children's sporting events. Dennis was always willing to lend a helping hand to others whether it was shoveling their driveways, working on their cars, or inflating pool floats. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Dennis is preceded in death by his daughter Shannon Humphrey-Bush. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Victoria (nee Walter) Humphrey. Sons, Justin (Kendra) Humphrey and Brent (Jessica Kuntz) Humphrey and daughter, Kayla (Eric) Young. Brothers, David (Judith) Humphrey, Gary (Pam) Humphrey and Roger (Jennifer) Humphrey. Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, January 26, at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas, KY from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
