So my first recollection of Jake was....when he came by in his red convertable to pick Karen up for a date. I couldn't have been more than 12 years old and I will never ever forget that day!

Jake, I will forever remember all of those summers at Wildwood with Karen, Ryan and the whole gang at Elsie´s place. We had so much fun! And how can I forget our nights at Pine Tree Tavern and then going back to the Jacob´s house! Those were the days! Timmy and I shall miss you my friend! RIP till we see you on the other side

Macungie Park had Friday night roll skating in a small rink that doubled as a small basketball court. It was always packed with lots of friends. They had special skates for couples. Somehow Dennis and I hit it off and for a while he would always pick me for couples skates. Got to talk to him about it at a prior reunion. It's a great memory and I am sad to hear of his passing.

As sophomores in High School, not many of us had our drivers license. Jake was the first. He came by in his '64 Mustang to pick a couple of us up for a drive. I seem to remember him hitting 100 MPH on 309 coming down off south mountain. Jake was never boring. Rest in peace my old friend.
