Dennis Robert Krum

Dennis Robert Krum passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in Lansing, MI, surrounded

by his family at age 79. Born on December 6, 1946, in Greenville, MI, to Margueritte Leach and

Keith Krum. Dennis graduated from Everett High School in 1965. Dennis's commitment to

service was evident early on when he joined the Air Force in January 1966, serving his country

with distinction until December 1969. He then had a fulfilling career with Pratt & Whitney

where he was an FAA inspector and served as the union president of local 2184 Aerospace

Machinist Workers. Dennis was a loving, kind, and generous man who had a passion for cars,

boats, dancing, and the casino. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who

asked.

Dennis is survived by his daughter Julie Kipfmiller and her husband David; his daughter Jamie

Krum; his sister Sharon Bryant; ex-wife and lifelong friend Carol Krum; and five cherished

grandchildren: Easten May, Carter May, Anna Kipfmiller, Madison May, and Jacob Kipfmiller. He

was predeceased by his mother Margueritte Leach; step-father Charles Leach; father Keith

Krum; brother Keith "Randy" Krum; brother-in-law Roy Moody.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Southeastern Guide

Dogs (now known as Dogs, Inc.).
