EAST FAIRFIELD - Dennis Marshia, age 77, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at his home in East Fairfield.
He was born in St. Albans on November 8, 1947 to Helen (McLaren) Marshia and the late Ramon Marshia.

Dennis married Polly (Bevins) on August 22, 1970 after they met at the Fletcher Grange Dance. Dennis loved baseball and softball and volunteered as a coach for many years. He was instrumental in starting the Babe Ruth league in the area.

He cherished his winters in Florida, where he enjoyed treasured time with family and friends. Dennis was known for his lively spirit at the Marshia deer camp, where competition around the card table, and hunting stories were always in abundance.
