Dennis Mauney Obituary

Dennis was a native of Gaston County, NC, born on January 18, 1948 a son of the late Coy Mauney and Alice Beam Mauney. He was a self employed farmer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Elaine Haynes.
Survivors include Penny Mauney of the home; their son, Jason Mauney and wife Dana of Bessemer City; three grandchildren, Jada, Jacob and Savannah Mauney; one great grandson, River Dennis Mauney; a brother, Dalton Mauney and wife Lucille of Bessemer City; two sisters, Mary Lou Mauney and husband Dennis of Kings Mountain and Sharon Allen and husband David of Cherryville.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Hendricks officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service.
Burial will be private.
