Dennis Lyn Parsons, age 82, of Waupun, passed away on August 2, 2025.
Dennis was born on October 18, 1942, in rural Berlin, Wisconsin, to Milton and Louise (Buelow) Parsons. He was the youngest of eight children, with five older sisters and two older brothers. Dennis was raised in the Berlin area and graduated from Berlin High School in 1960. After graduation, he worked for Berlin Seating, the Carnation Company, and later retired from the Rosendale-Brandon School District.
In July of 1964, Dennis married the love of his life, Sharie Lee Frank, at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun. The couple made Waupun their lifelong home.
Dennis had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in trout fishing on the Mecan River and hunting with his family. When not in nature, Dennis could often be found in his woodworking shop crafting beautiful furniture pieces for his family. He also shared a special bond with his son through their time spent restoring old cars together.
Dennis is survived by his son, Steve (Kim) Parsons; grandchildren, Alex (Tim) Pugh and Jordan (Adam) Rosenau; and great-grandson, Archer Rosenau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sharie; his parents; five sisters; and two brothers.
In accordance with Dennis's wishes, a private burial will be held.
