Dennis Patterson Sr., 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Dennis was a loving husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle and friend. He loved fishing as well as horse racing and spending time with his family. Dennis will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on July 6, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to Noarl and Jettye (Archie) Patterson. He is preceded in death by his Father, Noarl Ralph Patterson, Mother, Jettye Mae Patterson, Wife, Sarah Jane Patterson, Son, Dennis Ralph Patterson, Jr., and Brother, Joseph Meredith.
Dennis is survived by his loving family, Daughters, Lisa Farvour and Joyce House; 9 Grandchildren & 8 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Denise Sweet and Janet (Mark)Shultz, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
The family requests that contributions in Dennis’s memory be made to St. Jude’s's Children's Research Hospital.
