Dennis J. Rainsberger

Dennis J. Rainsberger, 67, of LaGrange, IN, died at home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Dennis was born on December 20, 1956, in Wausau, WI to Robert Bell and Geneva Ruth (Davis) Rainsberger.
Living for many years in LaGrange County, Dennis retired from Silgan Plastics, after working previously at Splash Universe Waterpark, and Outboard Marine Corporation. He was also the owner and operator of DenVic, LLC where he specialized in HVAC and enjoyed home renovation for 30 years. He was a member of New Life Followship in Topeka, IN.
Dennis was a man who loved his faith, family, and singing. He had served as a deacon at LaGrange Church of Christ and was on the board of directors for Camp Indogan in Angola, IN for 43 years.
On June 30, 1978, in Toledo, OH, he married Vicky L. Spurgeon; Mrs. Rainsberger survives in LaGrange, IN.
Also surviving are his three children, Jayson (Meghann) Rainsberger of LaGrange, IN, Justin (Jessica) Rainsberger of Auburn, IN, and Jayme (Ben) Bennett of Shipshewana, IN; nine grandchildren, Adelyn, Gavin, and Ethan Rainsberger, Aubrey, Emerich, and Isla Rainsberger, and Landon, Lilyan and Lexy Bennett; six siblings, Faith (Jim) Johnson of Los Angeles, CA, Sandy (Dan) Hall of Brooklyn, MI, Harold (Julie) Rainsberger of Temperence, MI, Cheryl Rainsberger of Derby, KS, Evelyn (John) Ankney of Columbus, OH, and David (Connie) Rainsberger of Temperence, MI; and a sister-in-law, Katherine Rainsberger of Healdsburg, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert Rainsberger, Jr.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Edna Yoder, RN of Goshen Hospice, Melina Caballero, and the Goshen Cancer Center and Hospice for all the care they provided for Dennis. They would also like to thank their church families for all the visits and helpful things they did during this time.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am and continuing until the service time at 2:00 pm at New Life Fellowship, 2755 S IN 5, Topeka, IN. Pastor Russ Hunsberger will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN.
