Dennis D. Ryan, age 56, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on October 28, 2024. He was born on June 8, 1968, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, to David A. Ryan and Nancy Bullock Ryan. In 1972, Dennis moved with his family to Orlando, Florida, where he later graduated from Evans High School in 1986.
Dennis is survived by his loving mother, Donna Ryan, who raised him as her own after the early passing of his biological mother, Nancy. He is also survived by his sister Ellen Ryan Rollins and her husband, Howard Steve Rollins; sister Erin Ryan; brother Richard Ryan and his husband, Henry Gaddy; brother Doug Henderson and his wife, Sutton Henderson; sister Dawn Henderson and her partner, Sally Milton; sister in law Melissa Ryan; and his beloved nephews and nieces plus other extended family members.
Dennis was predeceased by his father, David A. Ryan; his biological mother, Nancy Bullock Ryan; his sister, Colleen Ryan; and his brother, Patrick Ryan.
In his professional life, Dennis was known for his work in the construction industry as a trim carpenter, as well as in the restaurant business, where he served as a bartender and a manager.
As a young man, Dennis had a love for sports, particularly surfing, football, and baseball. He was always active, enjoying time outdoors and at the beach. He later developed a love for listening to live music, watching football games, and spending quality time with friends and family. He also had a special bond with his sister Ellen and Steve's dog, Roscoe, whom he adored.
Dennis was known for his kind heart, generosity, and warm spirit. He had a big personality and a true love for life, and though he was a night owl, he always made time for those he cared about.
Dennis will forever be remembered with love and affection by his family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
