Dennis Edward Schmuck

Dennis Edward Schmuck, born on August 8, 1953, in Michigan, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas. Dennis was a cherished husband, father, and friend who took an early retirement from the heating and air business after a fulfilling career.

He proudly served in the military, demonstrating his dedication and love for his country. Dennis was known for his outgoing and loving personality, making him beloved by all who knew him. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing horseshoes, and spending time at different lakes. Most importantly, he treasured moments spent with his family whenever he could.

Dennis is survived by his devoted wife, Rexie Schmuck, with whom he celebrated 34 wonderful years of marriage on December 31, 2025. He is also survived by his children, Elizabeth (Stewart) Welch, Trisha Schmuck, Jeremy Larson, and Amber Larson. Additionally, he leaves behind several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as several siblings who will remember him fondly.

Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Leaha Schmuck, his father, Edward Eugene Schmuck, and his mother, Iris (Hawkings) Schmuck. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made directly to his wife, Rexie.

Cremation is planned. Per his wishes, no services will be held.
