Dennis E. Strawcutter

Dennis E. "Denny" Strawcutter, 75, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2021 at his home, with his loving family at his side.
Born on November 3, 1945, in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald and Elizabeth (Bracken) Strawcutter.
Dennis grew up in Pennsylvania and then moved to San Angelo, Texas, where he lived most of his life. He later moved to the Medina/Lyndonville area in 2003 to be with his family. Dennis was employed as a Machinist with the former BernzOmatic, until illness forced his retirement. He was obsessed with fishing and was a diehard Steelers and Yankee's fan, but most of all he enjoyed singing and playing his guitar for family and friends.
Dennis is survived by four daughters, Jewel (Russ) Strawcutter, Shelcy (Brian) Plueckhahn, Terri Wojtasiak, Janet Underwood, 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four siblings, Mel (Betty) Strawcutter, Scott Strawcutter, Pamela Thurston, and Kathy Frontino, a brother-in-law, Craig Mattice. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and a very special niece, Gina Mattice.
Besides his parents, Dennis is predeceased by his siblings, James and Michael Strawcutter, Vikki Mattice, a son-in-law, Joe Wojtasiak and a grandson, Demitrios Alexandris.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 4 PM-7 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103 where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Albion.
