Mark J. Strawcutter, 71, of Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Norwich, Connecticut, on May 26, 1954, to the late Richard Merril and Jean J. (Johnson) Strawcutter.

Mark Graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1972, and then from IUP in 1977, where he spent the next 45 years working in the IT department before his retirement.

Mark was a member of Grace Church and enjoyed camping with his wife.

Surviving is his wife of 49 years Linda (Kauffman) Strawcutter, children Adam (Meghan) Strawcutter of Homer City, Sarah (Kyle) Locvich of Carlisle, PA, grandchildren Benjamin, Nicholas, Christian, and Jackson Strawcutter, Sisters Karen (Matthew) Socash of Erie, PA, Anne (Keith) Miller of DuBois, PA, brother-in-law Dan (Sandy) Kauffman of Brookville, PA, and brother-in-law Bob Peace of Punxsutawney.

Besides his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Jane Peace.

Friends will be received by the family on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 6-8 PM in the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 11 AM. Private inurnment will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
