Denny Bunn Obituary
He was born on June 3, 1949, in Garrett, to the late Donald E. and Christine (Hallmark) Bunn. He attended Elmhurst North High School, class of 1968.
Denny married Gwendolyn Turner on August 31, 1984, in Waynedale.
He worked for the Teamsters Union Local 414. Denny was an avid IU Basketball fan and loved to watch ladies' golf.
Denny is survived by his wife, Gwen; his daughter, Heather Taylor; three sons, Kristopher Bunn, R. Brandon (Angela) Smith and Joel A. Bunn; six grandchildren, Mariah (Caleb), Michaela, Mason, Courtney (Ivan), Cameron and Callie; four great- grandchildren, Ellie, Addie, Violet and Hazel; two brothers, Larry (Sandy) Bunn and Jeff (Kelly) Bunn; two sisters, Linda (Norman) Edwards and Cathy (Kenny) Cook.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald W. and Randy Bunn, and his daughter-in-law, Brianne Bunn.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, Huntertown Chapel, with calling two hours prior to the services.
The burial will take place in Huntertown Cemetery.
Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
