Deryl Lee Brown, 70, of Quincy, Florida, passed away at home on March 15, 2025, with his wife Beverly by his side.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howell and Ruth Phillips.
Deryl's survivors include his wife, Beverly Brown; son, Cameron Brown (Aspen); daughter, Lacey Fultineer (Austin) and grandson, Greyson Fultineer.
Deryl was born March 26, 1954, in Tampa. He grew up in Temple Terrace and attended college in West Virginia. He landed in Tallahassee and married the love of his life Beverly on his birthday, and they celebrated 41 years of marriage.
Deryl worked by his grandfather's side raising and training greyhounds. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His hobbies included mud racing and taking his children BMX racing. He had a love for music and enjoyed his weekly Band Camp gatherings where he sang, played drums, and had fellowship with his close friends, Andy, Dale, Bruce, and others.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, in the Chapel at Abbey Funeral Home, 4037 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee. Visitation will start at 12 Noon and the service will begin at 1 pm.
Friends are welcome to join the family after the service at Deryl and Beverly's home in Quincy.
