Desiree Browning Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Lawrenceville on Jan. 2, 2026.
Desiree "DJ" Jaclyn Browning, age 26, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on December 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Penelope Hope Reagin.
Desiree is survived by her Grandparents: Mike & Rita Heffley, and Phyllis Mainer; Mother: Diana Heffley; Father: Timothy (Amanda) Browning; Brothers: Justin (Alison) Browning, Zakkary Browning, Dakota (Jenelle) Browning, Sebastian Nash and Harley Nash; Nieces & Nephew: Kylie and Selah Browning and Conner Browning; her cats: Spock & Selene; as well as countless friends and loved ones that she called family. Desiree lived life with curiosity, courage, and a heart wide open to adventure. She loved the outdoors and could often be found hiking, exploring, or chasing the next adventure-especially if it meant making memories with the people she loved most. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and deeply devoted to her family, showing up with honesty, humor, and a presence that could never be ignored. Her love for anime and plushies was truly out of this world-she was their biggest fan, and she wore that joy unapologetically. Desiree was honest to a fault, stubborn and hardheaded in the best ways, and undeniably beautiful, with a smile that could light up any room. She took great pride in her work and had recently stepped into the role of assistant manager, a position she loved and worked hard to earn. At just 26 years old, Desiree was proud of who she was, what she had overcome, and who she was becoming. Above all else, she loved her daughter, Penelope, and held close the hope of the day she would see her again. Desiree had her whole life ahead of her, and while her time was far too short, the laughter, love, and light she shared will live on in everyone who knew her.
