Wayne "Pat" Browning, 68, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27th. Born in Westerly to his loving parents, the late Christopher and Roberta (Chaffe) Browning. He was the devoted husband to Linda (Iredale) Browning.
Pat owned Pat's Odd Jobs after he retired from DEM in Galilee.
Besides his wife, Pat is survived by his children, Jennifer Allen (Ray), Jason Browning, stepdaughters, Christine Dugas and Kathryn Woods (her husband Elan Weintruab), grandchildren, Brooke Allen, Tyler Allen, Brendan Woods and Nathan Dugas and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Nancy Eckenroth (California), Herb Browning (California), Robert Craig (Connecticut), Mike Browning (Ashaway), Christopher Browning (Virginia), Richard Browning (Hopkinton), John Browning (Richmond). He is pre-deceased by his sister Sue Harvey.
Pat also leaves behind his beloved dog Gracie who will miss him greatly.
Visiting hours will be held for Pat on Tuesday, February 10th from 4-6 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI 02879.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Pat's name to the Animal Rescue League 506b Curtis Corner Road Peace Dale R.I. And organization that was near and dear to Pat's heart.
