Deveron Arthur Brewer, 75, of McArthur, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 9, 2026, with his two sons by his side. He was born on April 5, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Belle (Wallington) Brewer Jr. He was married for 49 years to his beloved wife, Lana Beverly (Purcell) Brewer who passed on September 28, 2025.
Deveron retired from General Motors after 33 years. He enjoyed watching football and was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. He was a hard worker and enjoyed spending his free time with his wife and family.
Deveron is survived by his sons, Jason Brewer of McArthur and Justin (Juanita) Brewer of Milford; grandchildren, Lana McKenzie Brewer, Stella Brewer, Lianna Stump, Alesha Brewer, Tequilla Lawson, Chardonnay Lawson, Margarita Lawson; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Lawson, Charlotte Siler, Corbin Leonhart, and Magnolia Leonhart; and sister, Brenda Ison.
Deveron was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Jr. and Dorothy Belle; wife, Lana; son, Jason R. Stump; brothers, Douglas Brewer and Monte Brewer.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff with Heartland Hospice for their care.
A graveside service will be held at a later date where he will be laid to rest with his wife, Lana, at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, 27 S Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45440. Arrangements are with the Garrett Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High Street, McArthur.
