Devin Robert Call

Devin Robert Call left this world far too soon on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the age of 27.
Devin was born on July 10, 1994 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He was a son of Robert Roy Call and Lisa Eileen (nee Koresky) Glidwell. Devin was a 2012 graduate of Armada High School. On September 14, 2019, he married Stephanie Eickholdt in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Devin had a gift with cars and car restoration. He worked for himself and his career focus was on wheel and rim restoration. When he wasn't working, he could be found tinkering in his garage or helping a friend with their car. He never passed up an opportunity to help someone in need, from his family and friends to a complete stranger. Devin has the biggest heart, always putting others before himself in every situation. He was an old soul and always gave genuine advice that was far beyond his years. Devin may have looked intimidating but he was a big softy with an infectious smile that you couldn't help but laugh right along with him. He was always smiles. Devin enjoyed being outdoors. Hunting, riding, or just being up north in Red Oak (Lewiston area), brought him great joy. He had a special bond with his dog, Cash "Burdugass" and the love he had for his family and friends was unsurpassable. Devin's passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him, He took an angel from us. He will be greatly missed.
Devin is survived by his wife, Stephanie; fur babies, Cash and Bear; mother, Lisa (Robert) Glidwell, father, Robert Call; brothers, Brandon (Amanda) Doyle and Tyler Call; niece, Mackenzie; parents-in-law, Philip and Tammy Eickholdt; brother-in-law, Blake Eickholdt; special Aunt Diane Windstead; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Devin was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents; aunt, Lori Koresky and uncles, Dennis Winstead and Rick (Animal) Coots.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tiffany-Young and Hauss, Modetz Chapel, 73919 Fulton, Armada. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. with a visiting time starting at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
