Devin Michael Chinavare

January 26, 2000 – August 11, 2025

With great love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Devin Michael Chinavare, age 25, of Brownstown, Michigan.

Devin attended Annapolis High School and MIAT, where he trained as an HVAC Technician. Recognized for his exceptional talent and dedication, he was invited to serve as an instructor at MIAT before even graduating. He also served honorably in the Army National Guard, earning multiple distinctions including Soldier of the Month (Dec 2020 & Dec 2024), Outstanding Performance in Kosovo for leadership and professionalism (Jan 2021), the Army Medal of Achievement (July 2025), and a leadership certification (Nov 2020). Devin completed numerous missions during his service, always with dedication, professionalism, and pride.

Outside of his work and service, Devin loved art - especially drawing and tattooing - and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, four-wheelers, and boats. He will be remembered for his humor, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others, often protecting and supporting those he loved without hesitation.

Devin was the beloved son of Michael Allen Chinavare, Noel Marie Robertson, and Michelle Chinavare, dear brother of Conner James Chinavare, Brett Michael Hall, and Austin James Hall, and dearest grandson of Sharion and David Hunt, Larry and Flo Chinavare, and Carol Robertson. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road, Taylor, MI 48180. An Honor Guard Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family's GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/50d2e05d) to assist with funeral expenses and other unexpected costs. Any funds not used will be donated to charities related to military service, mental health treatment, and other causes close to Devin's heart.

Please share any photos with Conner James Chinavare to be included in the slideshow {(313)-622-2048 or [email protected].}
