Devona Jo Blair

Devona Jo Blair, 60, passed away to be home with the Lord in Bowling Green, KY on June 8, 2022. She joins her mother and father in Heaven. She was a beautiful loving mother and grandmother who grew up in Louisville, KY and loved life. Her true pride and joy were her family who she loved to the moon and back. She said the greatest thing she did was make four beautiful children. Devona loved to have a good time and cherished her friendships. She loved many things including animals, singing, wresting, motorcycles, karaoke, partying, her Indian heritage, and most of all her kids and grandkids. She was a kind nurturing woman who saw the best in everyone. She remained positive even when things were tough. Devona was creative, funny, compassionate, and friendly to everyone she met.
Survivors include her children Amanda, Melissa, Michael, Derrick and stepchildren Shannon and Dawn who she raised as her own. She also leaves behind her grandkids Kaylyn, Hayley, Cameron, Ethan, Dylan, Austin, Raelynn, Dayton, Easton, McKenna, Michael Jr, Layla, and Khloe. Survivors also include her sister Loretta and nephew Nathan. Devona leaves behind many loved ones including lifelong friends Myra and Martha. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 4 p.m. at Open Door Community Fellowship Church, 3938 Southern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40214. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the Church and fond memories can be entered into Devona's Tribute Wall at www.jckirbyandson.com.
