Dewell Thaxton Obituary

Dewell was born May 21, 1932, in Friendship, Arkansas to the late Dewey and Pauline Davis Haugland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnise "Bill" Thaxton; a son, Paul Thaxton; and a daughter, Donna Thaxton.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Frasher of St. Paul, MN, and Kathy Turner (Steve) of McCaskill; a son, Edward Thaxton (Lynda) of Hope; six grandchildren, Ronald Frasher of Minneapolis, MN; Heather Roberts (Bubba) of Horn Lake, MS; Dylan Thaxton (Mary) of Hot Springs; Jessica Wiley (Jared) of Benton; Sara Morris (Aaron) of Stephens; and Jack Thaxton (April) of Hope; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. and a visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. A mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Hope, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and graveside services will follow at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, Friday, July 11, 2025, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
