Dewey Thatcher Obituary
A graveside service with Military Honors will be at 10:00 am on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City.
Dewey was born on October 11, 1946 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Cleo and Winifred (Keck) Thatcher. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1966 to 1969.
He enjoyed spending time with is family and was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Dewey is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wentz; his daughters: Becky, Barbara and Bonny; numerous grandchildren and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
