We ask that you remember the family of Dexter T. Isbell at the age of 60. Mr. Isbell was a Tuscumbia native since September 10, 1962. Dexter owned an auto parts supply store and home security business for several years. Mr. Isbell passed away at his home on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Dexter was preceded in death by his parents, Clovis and Geraldine Isbell; and sisters, Margaret and Henrietta Isbell.
Dexter is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie Renee Isbell; son, Aaron Isbell (Ashley) of Muscle Shoals; sister, Jane Isbell Hoven of Gulf Shores; brothers, Junior Isbell, Douglas Isbell, Ricky Isbell (Susie) all of Tuscumbia; and Harold Isbell (Donna) of Ford City; father and mother-in-law, Hillard and Vadra Ayers; brother-in-law, Marshall Ayers; sister-in-law, and Angela Jones (David) all of Leighton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Ayers, Mike Ayers, David Jones, Anthony Isbell, Bobby Vandiver, and Justin Lindblom.
