Dexter Allen Morris, age 38, of Provo, Utah, passed away on December 30, 2025. He was born on October 28, 1987, to Scott and Trish Medina Morris. Dex grew up on Grandview Hill in Provo, where he created countless lifelong memories and friendships. He attended Westridge Elementary, Dixon Junior High, and Provo High School.
From a young age, Dex was known for his quick wit, warm smile, and remarkable ability to make everyone around him laugh.He had a deep love for paintball, traveling, and basketball, excelling on the court and bringing the same passion, competitiveness, and joy into all that he did. Dex had a big heart and formed deep, meaningful connections with friends and family, many of whom loved him dearly and will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Dex is survived by his beloved grandmother, Elsie Medina, whom he adored; his mother, Trish; his sibling, Miranda “Randi” Morris; and his only child, Abigail Morris, who was his pride and joy and whom he truly cherished.He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bonnie Medina, Miles and Mary Morris, who joyfully welcomed him into heaven.
Dex will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on until the day we are reunited with him in the life hereafter.
There is a service planned for Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lakeside 3rd Ward, 2530 W 200 S, Provo, Utah 84601. There will be a viewing before the service at 5:30 pm at the location.
