Diana Pereira

Diana Pereira, 42, of Washington Township, formerly of Lodi, entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2025 surrounded by the love and warmth of her cherished family and friends. She was employed by the Lodi Board of Education for 18 years, where she served as a beloved teacher at Hilltop Elementary School. Diana received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education and communications from Seton Hall University. She was also a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Lodi. Beloved mother of Daniel Jordan "DJ". Devoted daughter of Adelino and Sameiro Pereira. Dear sister of Angela Brito and husband Frank. Loving aunt of Frankie and Godchild Juliana. She was adored by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and was a treasured friend to all who knew her.
Diana's spirit was fulfilled when spending time with DJ, family, and friends, whether it was at the Caribbean Sea in Punta Cana, on the boat at Tice's, or dancing to her favorite country and freestyle music. Diana had an infectious smile that would brighten any room she walked into. If you were blessed enough to have known this beautiful soul, you know that heaven has gained its greatest angel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, 8:00 am at Di Chiara Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi then to St. Joseph R.C. Church for a 9:00 am Funeral Mass. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories in Paramus. Visitation Friday 4:00-8:00 pm.
