Diana "Kim" Walker Steers died peacefully on September 17, 2025 in her home in Rye, NY surrounded by family. Kim is survived by her three children Caroline Cameron (Duncan), Macy Steers (Jaime), and Walker Steers, of Rye, New York. She was an adoring and involved grandmother to her seven grandchildren: James, Ellie, Connor, Will, Sloan, Beau, and George. She is also survived by her seven siblings and 32 nieces and nephews. Kim was predeceased by her mother, Camilla Ridley, her father, Richard Walker, her stepfather, Frank Ridley and her sister Sarah Walker.

Kim was born on April 14, 1957 and grew up in Laurel Hollow, New York. She attended Cold Spring Harbor High School and graduated cum laude from Manhattanville University in Purchase, New York. Kim went on to be a Trust Administrator at the Bank of New York in Manhattan before moving to Rye, New York to raise her family.

Kim was a passionate, active member of her community, always looking to make an impact. She was an integral member and past President of the 32nd TWIG in Rye, a longstanding charitable organization that supported the United Hospital in Port Chester, New York. Some of her favorite days were spent working with her close TWIG friends at their marquee event, the Buick Classic golf tournament. An avid and competitive tennis player, Kim was known to dominate the courts at The Apawamis Club, where she was a member for 20 years, and at Rye Racquet. In her down time, Kim loved to spend time with her children, reading and enjoying time with her many friends.

Kim was a loyal parishioner at The Church of the Resurrection, where she taught CCD for 22 years.

Kim will be remembered as a loving & devoted family member and friend with an outgoing, generous and kindhearted spirit. She will be eternally missed.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 25th at 10:00am at the Church of the Resurrection, in Rye, NY, with a celebration of Kim's life to follow at the Apawamis Club. The mass will be live streamed from the Church of the Resurrection website. The internment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canterbury School Endowment in New Milford, CT 06776 or to Resurrection Church in Rye, New York 10580.
