Diana Valentine Obituary Diana L. (Kinney) Valentine, 65, of Byesville, passed away Saturday (December 21, 2024) at Aultman Hospital, Canton.
She was born December 31, 1958 in Alliance, daughter of the late George "Red" Kinney and Adelia (Carpenter) Kinney.
Diana was a graduate of United Local High School. She had worked with the B&L Agency for thirteen years and later with RHDD for six years.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, and crafting. She was a NASCAR fan, with her favorite driver being Kevin Harvick. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Senecaville United Methodist Church, where she was very active. She enjoyed working with the ladies of the church on their many crafting projects.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandy Gromely and Sue Postelwaite; and a son, Derrick Valentine.
Diana is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Danny Valentine; her daughter, Danielle (& Brian) Long of Cambridge; her stepsons, Dennis (& Abby) Valentine of Byesville, Dale (& Amy) Valentine of Senecaville, Darren (& Meredith) Valentine of Pleasant City; three brothers, Scott (& Terri) Kinney of New Mexico, Donald (& April) Covert of Cambridge, and Pete (& Karen) Carpenter of Calais; two sisters, Roxanne (& Harry) Blackburn of Carrolton and Donna (& Lenny) Chase of Akron; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday (December 29, 2024) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will be held Monday (December 30, 2024) at 11 a.m. with Evan. Mark Beros officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
