Diane Marie (Edwards) Auberry was a beloved mother and grandmother during her incredible 68 years of life. Diane earned her wings on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Diane was born in Indianapolis on June 9, 1956. She was the only child of Eugene and Charlotte "Beverly" Edwards. She attended John Marshall High School and lived in the Indianapolis area for most of her life. Diane worked as a receptionist for Envive Healthcare of Beech Grove the past several years. Prior to this she was a devoted caregiver to her loved ones. She was a live-in caregiver to both her mother and father over the years. She tended to her son, Ryan, daily after a tragic car accident. Diane also watched her two grandchildren daily for the better part of 12 years.
Diane was an avid animal lover and owned many pets over her lifetime. She loved driving red sports cars. If there was shopping involved, she was always up for the task. She loved beaches, wolves, angels, jewelry, and anything turquoise. But of all her hobbies and loves, her favorite one, was spending time with her grandkids. "Gamma," as she was affectionately called, always referred to Alex and Anna as "her heart."
Diane was predeceased by her parents and son, Ryan Shane Auberry. She is survived by her son, Jason (Tricia) Parrott and grandchildren, Alex and Anna Parrott. Diane leaves behind many other family members, dear friends, and her cat Callie, and all will miss her dearly. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
A celebration of life will be held at Indiana Funeral Care at 2433 E Main St. Greenwood, IN 46143 on Nov 1, 2024.
